Drawing agency for the steel industry, with the latest software and high-speed hardware
Van Moll Engineering uses the Tekla Structures 3D drawing program for design and engineering. However, we are also highly competent in applying other systems, including Revit, HiCad, MicroStation and AutoCAD. We supply exactly those drawings that you require, thus enabling you to get straight to work.
Latest building standards
All the drawings and files which we supply comply with the latest building standards. Depending on your requirements, they can be supplied electronically and/or in printed form. Furthermore, we can supply all the electronic data necessary to operate metal-working machinery.
IFC and STEP exchange formats
Our software enables us to convert exchange formats, such as IFC (for the construction industry) and STEP (for mechanical engineering), from one to the other. We are therefore highly capable of utilising the strengths of the software appropriately for the various disciplines, while ultimately producing a single model.
As of 1 July 2014, all components of loadbearing steel structures are subject to the NEN-EN 1090 standard. Steel fabricators are not permitted to apply the CE marking to their products unless they comply with all the structural requirements applicable. The NEN-EN 1090 is therefore vital to everyone who is in any way involved with steel or aluminium structures: clients, suppliers, contractors, fabricators and drawing agencies. Van Moll Engineering supplies solely drawings that are NEN-EN 1090 compliant.
The entire construction sector endorses the significance of BIM (Building Information Modelling). The system is increasingly used by architects, drawing agencies and building companies alike. Van Moll Engineering uses BIM on a daily basis. We therefore assist in rendering the entire construction process more efficient, while reducing the costs incurred.
